Thanks to Adrian and the guys at Max Gaming!

posted April 17, 2008

We had an excellent game developer meetup this week, hosted by Adrian Wright in the new Max Gaming offices just south of Cleveland, OH. He showed off some of the current games that they are working on, and then opened the floor for others. There was something for everyone - a 3D rendition of the house from A Christmas Story, a training simulation designed for nursing students at Lorain County Community College, a recap of events from the recent NOTACON gathering in Cleveland, and much more.

Our next meeting will likely return to Lava Lounge in Tremont, but as always that is subject to change - be certain to sign up at the Cleveland Game Developer's Meetup page for updates.

New Forums are now live!

March 19, 2007

I have finally found a new forum program that appears to be less of a spam magnet (so far). The new, improved forums can be found here or by following the menu link to the right.

Forums temporarily disabled

February 23, 2007

I have decided to disable to forums until I can find a way to reduce the amount of spam appearing on the site. As it stands, the boards are receiving 50+ spam posts a day, despite the filters installed to reduce that number.

In addition, there has only been one real post on the boards during that time. I am open to suggestions - what forums or other tools would make this site more useful to the development communitiy here in Northeast Ohio?
